Crazy Amazing Designs is Nathan Robb’s training and coaching brand for church tech teams. We make practical training content, templates, and tools for churches that want better audio, video, lighting, and streams — without guessing, and without spending enterprise money.

You’ll find us on YouTube with hundreds of free tutorials, here on the website with templates and tools in the shop, and on Zoom for personalized coaching.

A Single Session is 45 minutes on Zoom working directly on your church’s setup — not a sales call, not a webinar. It’s you and Nathan (plus anyone from your team you want in the room), digging into the thing that’s been fighting you until you have a clear plan you can run this Sunday.

When you book, you’ll tell us your primary goal for the session. Nathan reads that before the call, so he shows up already knowing your gear and what you want fixed — no time wasted on “so, tell me about your setup.”

We work on the whole Sunday stack: sound consoles, ProPresenter, cameras and switchers, live streaming, lighting, and the control systems that tie them together. See all of the systems Nathan is very familiar with in this article.

Absolutely — it’s one Zoom link, so bring as many people as you like.

And here’s the thing: Nathan is always teaching, whatever the session is for. When he’s troubleshooting your system, he’s explaining what he’s doing and why the whole way through — everyone in the room learns how the system actually works. Troubleshooting and training aren’t separate products; teaching is just how Nathan works.

The one expectation to set: 45 minutes has one driver’s seat. A session shaped around hands-on training for your team (think classroom, with practice and Q&A) spends its time differently than a session shaped around fixing or building something (where the team learns by watching real work happen). We can’t give both jobs the full 45 minutes at once.

So when you book, just tell us in the booking notes which one is the larger goal — and we’ll shape the session around it.

More than you’d think. You tell us your goal when you book, so Nathan arrives already knowing your gear and what you want solved — and the problems churches hit are surprisingly similar, so we skip straight to the fix instead of starting from zero.

Here’s Nathan’s favorite way to prep: in the weeks before your session, keep a running list — every question you hit, every problem that pops up on a Sunday, everything you wish worked better. Bring the whole stack to the meeting and we’ll work through it one at a time.

Every session has a primary goal we intend to get done. But usually we get through three or four solid things beyond it, as long as none of them is a monster on its own.

Need more time? You can add back-to-back time right in the booking, so one sitting covers as much ground as you want.

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe — one of the most trusted payment platforms on the internet, used by millions of businesses. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.

Right after you complete checkout, Stripe sends you an email with a download link to the file. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder — or send us a note and we’ll get it to you directly.

The ProPresenter Quick Start Template is built for ProPresenter 7.1 and beyond and works on both Mac and Windows. It includes install guides for both the newer Workspaces format (v7.20+) and legacy versions, plus tips for transferring your old content into the new template.

If you’re on a different console or software and unsure whether something we sell will work for you, ask before you buy — we’d rather answer a question than take your money and not deliver.

Nathan Robb has served in the local church since 2012. He has led teams and served as a production director in Canton, Ohio, for several years. He’s built and maintained complete audio, video, lighting, and streaming systems — not as a consultant who shows up for a day, but as the person who owned it on Sunday mornings and fixed it when it broke at 9:47am.

For coaching sessions, refunds are handled case-by-case — reach out and we’ll figure it out.

Yes — session recording is an add-on you can select when you book. Nathan records the session and sends you the video file afterward so you can re-watch it, share it with your team, or reference it later.

Forgot to add it when booking? Just ask at the start of the call and we’ll sort it out.

Yes. Most of the stuff on our shop uses Stripe for instant checkout, but for monthly coaching, on-site consulting, and larger engagements, we can send an invoice your church’s bookkeeper can pay by ACH or check.
